This year, we deep-dived into this problem and developed MAIRA, our first AI-powered Voice Agent. With a natural, human-like voice and support for over 15 languages—including English and Spanish out-of-the-box—MAIRA ensures that every call is answered promptly, any time of day. 2. Medsender Analytics
We launched Medsender Analytics, a powerful tool to help healthcare practices optimize referral management. With features like tracking referral volume trends, monitoring scheduling efficiency, and analyzing time-to-contact, Medsender Analytics gives practices valuable insights to improve workflows, allocate resources, and enhance patient care. 3. Referral Processing
The hassle of slow, manual referral processing is a common frustration for healthcare teams and patients alike. Waiting days for referrals to be handled can lead to delays, missed appointments, and lost patients. This year, we tackled this challenge head-on with Medsender’s streamlined referral solution. By automating key steps like reading referrals, creating patient charts, validating insurance, and scheduling appointments—Medsender AI referral processing cuts referral turnaround time from 7 days to just 1 day. Providers can schedule more patients, reduce referral leakage, and keep referring partners in the loop without the extra administrative burden.
4. Medsender Connect
We introduced Medsender Connect, an innovative feature designed to enhance collaboration among healthcare providers. By enabling instant document sharing and real-time chat between users, Medsender Connect streamlines workflows and improves patient care. A highlight was our webinar with Frontier Dermatology, the largest physician-owned dermatology practice in the Pacific Northwest. Managing 25,000 faxes and 6,000 referrals monthly, Frontier Dermatology faced significant challenges with manual processes that took 5–7 days to complete. With Medsender AI, they now process referrals on the same day using automated triaging, SMS scheduling, and instant chart creation—saving over 500 hours each month.
